After having searched every connection I oan find to do with LP I can understand your response to Dan. If I wanted an 8 x 10 glossy I would use a photocopier. If I wanted to discuss discography I would put my LP acquisitions down with a nice aged red. Unfortunately I have not yet found any discussion to do with her talent as a musician or lyricist (especailly considering her unique application of metaphor and simile "feels good like relieving a headache" - yay codeine) - those things that make her worth listening to - even for those of us who would really just like a blow job. There are some very evident reasons other than the physical why LP appeals to men, and, no, it is not just the immediately sexual ( I in no way mean to underrate male sexuality) it is the experience and the effort applied in the attempt to explore and define masculinity that is appealing. She never makes us "feel bad" without making us "feel good" at the same time. It is her honesty and balance, always evident of a personal point of view, that is appealing. So, while Dan might be a bit extreme in selling out his family, it is a big leap to suggest that he might do anything for a blow job. A blow job is obtainable at a price most women won't care to admit to having charged, and most men won't admit to having paid.
