Saw the show in Hampton Beach, NH. It was a blast. I've listened to Liz for a long time, but this was my first chance to catch her live. I'd read old reviews that said she was uncomfortable on stage in tours past, but I got no sense of that. She and the band came out rockin' and while they changed tempo a couple of times, they never let up. The band was strong, and of course the music was great, but ultimately the show is about Liz and how friggin' hot she is on stage. The way she sings, the way she plays, the way she moves, and the way she relates to the audience combine to create a very sexy, riveting focal point for a wonderful rock and roll performance.
Afterward, she signed a T-shirt for me. I haven't asked anyone for an autograph in... well ever, actually. But I had to for some reason, and now I have a lucky T-shirt, which I wore to play golf the next day. I completely sucked at golf, and the other players kept eyeing my black Chicks with Attitude T-shirt as though it didn't belong on a golf course, but I didn't give a shit. I was still rockin' to the music that lingered in my head all day and night for the next few days.
