Hey, there are a few ways to do it.

Theoretically Windows Media Player should let you burn directly to a CD. Load the .asf file, right click it on the current playlist and select copy to CD. Beware you only get a few copies on this protected format. Grr.

Mind you I hate anything M$ related so I used Creative PlayCenter3 (Creative's answer to media player), converted it directly to a WAV file, split the tracks and burned it. Don't know how other MP3 software players are for converting protected windows media to WAV, but my software had no problems.
