Subject: Liz blurb in Entertainment Weekly

This week's issue of EW says this in the Music Section:

"IN THE STUDIO

Liz Phair, In LA, to continue work on her long-delayed fourth album, this time with the producer-writer collective known as the Matrix (currently riding high with Avril Lavinge's "Complicated")."

While we're on the Avril topic, let me just say that she's just another blip-on-the-radar forgettable pop act with little style and even less substance.

Everytime the new album is mentioned, the news is more depressing.
Besides, they keep mentioning various producers that she has worked with, you'd think it would be all 'produced' by now

it doesn't sound good at all.

the same guy who produces cheesy pop songs is producing Liz's new album. :(
I like WCSE. it's not bad, but its not that great either. and I like the new songs - "Love/Hate Transmission", "Don't Apologize", etc.... but i don't think i could take anything that's even *poppier* than "Polyester Bride" or "What Makes You Happy", not from Liz.

I should mention my favorite album of hers is GIRLYSOUND... now you might know where i'm coming from!!
