I agree. Thanks for the heads up. I just went to Ticketbastard to find out about the NY date.

I don't get this tour either. Such sporadic dates in such varied locations. Grr. She hasn't toured in 5 years (I missed those dates too) so she needs to get to more cities.

Hey, I just stumbled upon this message ironically after just ordering my Roseland tix. I've never posted, or even ready anything else yet, but I have to agree on this one.

I got an email from the official site about the pre-order info. Only yesterday, I found out about the Roseland date, after realizing that the ONLY other NYC date is Bowery Ballroom and already sold out. So I had to jump on the chance to get the Roseland one. I'm kind of pissed too that she's opening for Jason Mraz (no offense to him, I don't know who he is though). My fear is that now I've spent this money to see her open, and then they're gonna add another of her own shows. Of course, I'll want to go again, and while I love the idea of seeing Liz twice...money does not grow on trees.

The bottom line is that the music industry sucks, indie or not, eventually you gotta give in and let things happen such as this. Don't you love how you see Clear Channel (CC) on EVERYTHING relating to entertainment now? It's always been hard to see good shows, now it's gonna be even harder.

Anyway, that's it for my first rant...when I have time I'll read more and hopefully post some nice stuff about Liz. :o)
