Subject: monolgue for an audition

next week i am auditioning for my high school musical, which this year is "Damn Yankees"...for the audition we have been asked to prepare a 1-minute monologue (not from the musical but in its style)...does anyone have any recommendations for a monologue i could use or ideas for how i should go about finding one?
