Subject: Pseudonyms

A partner and I have just finished a script and are about to send out queries to agents and production companies. Because he wants to eventually establish himself in multiple genres, he used a pseudonym on the title page. I get the feeling he wants to sign letters with the pen name, and maybe take meetings responding to it. Should I be concerned? I feel that since his real name is on the WGA registration, we shouldn't play games about our identity this early on. He wants to establish this new identity in comedy, but I'm worried it will hurt both of our credibilities. Am I being over-cautious???
