Subject: Washed Up?

Am I finished? I've been trying to revive my career for about 15 years now but I can't seem to shake the stigma of prison time and numerous drug rehab stays. Yea I'm my worst enemy but hey I was a well respected, well paid and, well, great TV writer for almost 20 years so I must have something to offer. You may not know my name but I'm certain you have been exposed to my work. Remember 'The Ropers', the spin-off from 'Three's Company', I wrote 6 half-hour scripts for that show. Unfortuneatly the show only lasted 3 episodes. I have also written for the 'Micheal Richards Show', the 'Bob Patterson' show and the new Julia Louise Dreyfaus vehical. Other sitcoms I have contributed too include 'The Tom Arnold Show', 'The Pauley Shore Comedy Experience' and a new hour long 'dramedy' starring Robert Blake, which as of yet does'nt have a production date. For whatever reason I just can't seem to make a go of it as a writer despite my many years of writing great material. What is my problem?
