Turns out that cornish word poet pam ayres was onc a british spy ( of sorts ). imagine this in a james bond-esque scenario:

Bad guy: ha ha i have you now miss ayres

Pam: No No No...oi baint be pam ayrrres. zurely you arrrre miztaken.

Bad guy: well why are you speaking in that awful cornish accent?

Pam: Oi aam....i mean....I AM not pam ayres. Any way its a scotish accent..listen...och aye dee noo...see, proves i'm scottish that does.

Bad Guy: Whats your name then.

Steve: Its steve...

Bad guy: no ha wrong...you cant catch me out with the old change-my-name-in-the dialogue trick.

Ste..pam: Baaarztad you changed my name back.

Bad guy: Bwah ha ha...i have you no
