Dick, I understand the love one has for their dog, or any pet and I do offer my sympathy. They are a member of the family. We have a 13-year-old Peek-a-Poo and just adopted a 2-year-old Malti-Poo who is 7 pounds of preciousness! I've only had to put one little friend to sleep - my 11-year-old poodle - and it's a tough decision. I'm already thinking about my 13-year-old and wondering how long we'll get to have her. However, I read in the Jackson paper this morning that Guiness Book of Records just announced the oldest dog....21 years old. Saw him on TV today and he's really perky!
