Subject: Lemon Bug

I have a VW Bug 2000 turbo. On July 17th my car stalled 3 times and the airbag light stayed on. I took my car to the dealer and they told me I had a defective speed odometer. And, it could take up to 25 days before they could get the part in. Has anyone experience this problem? I wouldn't be so upset if my rental car was a VW. Driving a Chevy Calviliar is not like driving my Bug.

I have contacted the VW Consumers support. They had no clue when the part would be in. They said, it was an international problem and this part was a back order.

I hope this will help someone or if you and help me.

Thanks,

James T. Dade
