Subject: Help, my car alarm sucks!

I have a 1995 saturn that I just purchased. It came with an alarm system, but i never recieved a a remote for it. Sometimes my car won't start. I think it has something to do with my alarm. When I can Get my car started, I don't know how to shut the alarm off. Do you think my alarm is draining my battery? I have a switch on the inside of my car, but no matter which way I switch it, the alarm still goes off. Also, the alarm only goes off when I turn my key. Please Help!
