In all the many many years I have followed him, I have never read/heard him say a single bad thing about anyone at all. He has always been diplomatic and nice about everyone- even those who have insulted him. He seems to understand, as he said in that shootout thing that these journalists are making a name for themselves as much as he is and it's part and parcel of the job.
The only time he has taken positive action is when the enquirer wrote and said he was back in rehab in october 1997 - so he sued them, understandably as that could have had a very negative effect on his career. Needless to say that he won and they printed a retraction. But again he didn't badmouth them - never has, never will.
