Vanae pauses suddenly, bringing up her fist to show the others to stop and remain quiet. Her eyes carefully scan the shadows beneath the towering trees and her ears listen for any hint of footfalls on the earth. The latters is heard, and slowly she draws her sword, the blade glinting in the morning light.

Silvia frowns. She had been afraid of an attack, even in such a peaceful place as this. She vanishes from her position behind Vanae to spot the trouble, and sees that and army of the slaves of Tirith'a are headed towards them, armed and with instructions to destroy them before they reach their first goal. She quickly flickers back to the main group before she is seen, and says quietly though all can hear her, "Ready yourselves. An attack is at hand."
