Shall I add a piece of forever to your yellow tainted smile?
The rough hewn stone you named me shines brighter in the light of your departure.
Bits and bytes of you still float in the air.
In the end I'm sure I'll be just another story in the sands of ache.
Time the feeble thife, taketh not my love.
In the age of early endings
Forever is not long enough.
Entranced by your mind,
Though unable to see the freedom it held.
I make no penance for the choices I've made.
Only the hearts I've bleed dry.
Each moment touches eternity,
And repetes itself in half torturous fashion.
So I take comfort in the moments I've held, then set free.
I stand alone, whispering to the world my ineptitude and selfish longings.
I never meant to shun your light, only to be a part of its warmth.
