My mommie cuddled me all thru last night

She gave me a warm gift this time...
....it was Love
...as she held me tight

My mommie is going to comfort my fears forever

She promised to rock me to sleep from now on
....sing me lullabies
...and whisper stories till bad memories are gone

I told my mommie I liked this new kind of comfort from her

She helps me to feel safe and Loved
....and now I can feel this life
...knowing that my mommie will protect me from bad
Owies with blood

My mommie now cuddles me all thru each night

She sure is gonna hold me really close this time
....making sure those bad men are gone
...so I can sleep with good dreams instead of fright.
