A world turning, tilted and blue
Set amidst a vast ocean of stars
Early morning sun drops and dew
Lying against the green soil.

An ocean apart, a world goes to learn
Skies are scraped by endless peril
Flames shining brightly and horribly burn
Because of hates wrathful eye.

Shadows creeping in and beyond
A hazardous time waits
Strode in the doom are many hearts beating afraid
And no siren or words can sedate many a person’s tomb

In the tragedy that rules a day,
With uncertainty, confusion and fear,
Even after 3 strikes more to come this way,
When they feel the end is near.

When a sky cries black and gray tears,
And hate’s smoldered a flame of orange color,
When life is deprived of its wonderful clutches,
And a child is stolen from his mother.

When tragedy pursues the heart
To lengths which no one knew
When love is struck with a force so great
It leaves an ocean of tears in blue.

The sun shall mend the tattered hopes
Of hearts beating firmly still
The moon will give the suns glow
To eyes wide and with hope filled

Rains will bring a soothing calm
And thunder will show its wrath.
Life and love seeming doomed to go on,
Eyes staring at words upon an epitaph.

Strength may flow through minds once more
To seize the terrible day
And hearts may feel love once more
From an entire nation in a new and unique way.

And still the tragedy presents its gloom
To masses tired and worn
So many gone, murdered, and maimed,
The quest to find light seeming forlorn.

And the clutches of tragedy prevail in the morning
Throughout the night its grip remains strong
But memories of a time gone by
Make relinquishing hope far and long.

And no words offer a soothing note
To a people who have lost so much
No words can describe the pain
Of beings caught within tragedies crush.

A flickering light in distant hearts
Combines and gives fire to all
The mother with her helping hands
The father giving support after a fall.

The families longing for relief
The sons with brighter hope
Daughters combine love and strength
And the families bonds support will it evoke

Reminders wide and to all
As a land will come together
That even in that horrible day
Will they support each other

Tragedies hold never everlasting
A grip grows weak over time
And from new knowledge power is brought
To those willing and strong in mind

A world turning, tilted and blue
Set amidst a vast ocean of stars
And turning still yet with strength to give
Despite its many deep and hurting scars.
