I'm looking for information on outboard hydroplanes. I have a 7 foot "Fury" that was given to me as a child for mowing lawns. I've kept the boat for 20+ years as I vowed that one day I would restore it and run it on the water
again. It is this that brings me to you for help.

The boat isn't in too bad of shape but does require new chines, seat, and steering mechanism to list a few. The transom also looks as though it could be reinforced. The boat is completely fiberglass, is red and white in color
(needs to be painted). The only marking on it is a little metal tag that says Fury. I think the boat originated in either Massachusetts or Connecticut. I've talked to several people at various marinas who were of
no help. I'm looking for any information you may have on these boats, what size engine they're rated for and anything else you may have to offer. Any
assistance you could give would be greatly appreciated.
I have pictures as well if that would help.
