My kids were playing in the woods outback this morning and found an old outboard. I looks to be about 50yrs old and except for a broken prop and missing cover (?) it appears intact. There is no external rust and is completely siezed. (except for a couple of small knobs) I am trying to find out the following: - Year (Based on my initial research, I think it's from '58) - Availability of parts and manuals The info on the tag is as follows: Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. Code: 133-8-1785 Stock Number: 10-A-112 5 H.P. O.B.C. Certified @ 4200 Serial Number: 17852820 Akron 17 Ohio Any direction would be greatly apprieciated.
