Just want to let all you folks know that our annual banquet will be held on Saturday, Jan. 19 at the Elks Club, Main Street, Riverhead. $10 per person (plus a covered dish if you can manage it) and cash bar. Carole Terry organizes the food portion, so if you are not sure what to bring, give her a call. We will have a Chinese auction and a 50/50 raffle and awards for the year will be presented. We always have a great time at this event and it is very well attended. If you want to reunite with old Long Island racing friends, this is the place to be. I think it starts around 6 p.m.
