The slender female wasted no time in the unprotected woods that surrounded the foreboding looking castle that sat on the hill. The highest torrents were lost to view- claimed by the night’s graying thunderheads. The gray wolf, over 7 years old, trotted along warily. Over a log here, past a few forcefully broken branches. Her ears sat high on alert and her breath came in quiet pants only to be held whenever a scent passed her muzzle. She definitely smelled other wolves, but concluded the scent to that of the twins. Following hurriedly in their fresh prints, she found her way into the West Wing with little difficulty. Down past several doors, she only paused to glance into her own chamber. She halted, ears and head high as she looked past the heavy wooden door into the dim, cold room she’d once lived in. Paused there, like a statue, she almost appeared to be hoping to see someone, or something, of familiar taste. But with no such luck, she let her head down and muscles relax. About that time she heard a faint rumble from down the hall. Her head rotated swiftly and she concluded that it wasn’t the growl of a male, by any means. Though it had been some time since her last encounter with the twins, she hoped that much hadn’t changed. She set off at a swift pace full of self importance and curiosity. She stumbled into the room behind the males, bumped sides with Essence as she passed, a slight smirk of mischief in place. Coming sidelined to Delusion, she paused to peer eagerly at the not-so-happy-to-see-intruders-female that lay paused on the bed, her lip raised in an un-welcoming fashion. My now. Was that any way to treat the old queen? Not that Kosses blamed her. “Oh. Sorry. We seem to be intruding. I beg your pardon, miss. We were unaware of other occupants to the area. By the look and smell of things, I guess there are others?” she let the question pause- hoping the female would see that they meant no harm. “By the way, I’m Kosses. These are simply my Do-Sayers and Messenger Boys.” She cast a mocking look over her shoulder to her friends. “haha. I win.” She smirked silently to them. Game on, boys. Kosses is back.
