Upon returning to the living room, Jon filled Richie in on the plan to stay over in the same rooms they had the night before.

Obviously pleased with the plan, Richie peels off his boots and kicks back on the sofa. " Can I sleep here!?" Letting out a chuckle, he beckons to Jon. "Jon, check it out, Eastwood's on , Pale Rider man!"

Lani and I laughed as they expressed their excitement over the old western being on. Following Richie's plan, Jon kicks off his boots and stakes his claim on the sofa across from the one Richie was sprawled on.

Not wanting to disturb their movie watching we snuck over to the end of each sofa and turned the lights out for them. Our plan was to go up to bed so they could relax after a long night of entertaining so many fans earlier but that idea wasn't suiting either of them.

Lani and I had wandered off to grab the pillows from the spare bedrooms for them. Upon returning, we hand them the pillows and say goodnight.

"Goodnight!?" both of them acting surprised. Laughing we started to tell them we didn’t want to disturb them but that didn’t quite get said. Next thing I knew, Richie had pulled me down onto the sofa with him and began adjusting the pillows just right. Propping himself up slightly he guided me between his long sprawled out legs. Leaning back against his chest, I smiled as he wrapped me in his arm and began to plead his case.

“Lissa, Darlin, It’s a Jovi rule that no member shall watch a good western without a babe in his arms, Right Jon?” Looking over at Jon, he was already in action as he pulled Lani down on the sofa with him as well.

"That’s right Rich, Jovi rule’s must be followed at all times” He says with a smile.

“You ladies wouldn’t want us to break a Jovi rule, would ya!?” Richie smiles at Lani and I with a look of curious on his face.

Laughing we both shake our head no with vigor. “Oh No, that would be just downright wrong for us to do that!” we teased them. Laughing at our response, we happily help them see to it that their Jovi Rule remained unbroken.

It’s no secret that we loved the plan they had made for us. The next couple of hours were spent quietly enjoying the movie and enjoying the guy’s affections throughout and during commercials.

Lost in our own little world, unaware of what Lani and Jon were doing I drank in the caress of Richie’s hands. Gliding soft and gentle down my arm, the heat from his hands penetrated my skin. Ever so slightly, his long fingers traveled the contour of mine. Entwining them in his, he slid them free and continued his tender strokes up my arm only to return where they had been before. Showering the palm of my hand with warm kisses, he reaches for the remote and clicks off the tv. As his body began to slide down on the sofa, I pushed myself up to leave. Stopping me, he drew me back to him and whispered against my lips. His breath warm and sweet he pleaded, “Stay with me baby, it’ll be alright” Kissing me tenderly he wrapped his arms around me as I lowered my head to his chest and allowed his touch to lull me to sleep.

As the morning sun streamed in through the window and warmed my face.....

I let myself drift over the events of the past 48 hours and blissfully figured I could die a happy woman right now! The next thing I know I hear Jon exclaim, Hey what the HE** is that?! Oops, guess I should have let the dog out before she started licking Jon's face. I got up to do just that but Richie wrapped his arms tighter around me and I couldn't escape. Like I really wanted to! But I slowly untangled myself and whispered I would be back. I got the dog and put her out while Jon gathered Lani closer and went back to sleep himself.

As much as I wanted to go do the same I figured I should at least get coffee going for everyone.

I went back to survey the scene in my living room and just could not believe all that happened. Everyone had had a great time and looked very comfortable.

I managed to get back onto the couch with Richie. He whispered, Good Morning Darlin' to me. I returned the sentiment and laied my head back on his chest. He kissed the top of my head and dozed off again.

Jon meanwhile had smelled the coffee and was slowly waking Lani up with little kisses on her face. They got up and went to the kitchen to get some coffee.

The aroma wafting from the kitchen became more than I could bear. Apologizing to Richie for abandoning him for a cup of coffee, he laughs and decides to join me. Following close behind we promptly greeted Lani and Jon and sat down to share in their morning chat. After a few cups had been consumed and the caffeine began to kick in, we grabbed our showers and gathered back in the kitchen for breakfast.

Chopping and dicing the needed veggies while we discussed the up and coming tour, I searched the fridge for my missing ingredient. Not finding what I was looking for I asked Lani to run out to the garden and grab me a couple sweet red peppers. Excusing herself from the conversation she headed out the back door in search of what I had asked for.

The strong scent of herbs swirled about the room as she opened the door. Unusually strong for some reason I think nothing of it as I comment to Jon and Richie that it must be the beautiful September morning. Suddenly I hear a gasp coming from the back porch. Looking over at the guy’s they have already jumped up to investigate. Calling out to them as I continued my duty as chef I asked if everything was ok.

“What is it? Is something wrong? Lani?” suddenly I hear Richie’s voice become loud and irritated. Removing the skillet from the burner, I dropped what I was doing and started out the door to see what was going on.

Meeting Richie on the way in with Lani and Jon close behind he pushes me back inside. “ What!? What’s going on!?” I asked confused. Fear set in as looked at their faces. Appearing distraught Lani started apologizing to me “ I’m so sorry Lissa!” as the tears began to stream down her cheeks I broke free from Richie’s grasp and ran out the back door to see what was making them all appear so upset.

The shock of what I found ripped through me like a knife as I screamed out in anger. “NOOO!! YOU B**CH!!! NOOO!!” Overwhelmed by what stood before me I fell into Richie’s arms as they enclosed around me. Burying my face in his chest, I began to sob as he tried desperately to console me. Unable to watch, Lani turned away to the comfort of Jon’s arms as well. Trying to absorb it all, my knees weakened as Richie continued to shower me with his soothing words.

Lifting my head, I looked back and wiped my tear stained face with the back of my trembling hand. Moving closer, I scanned the destruction. Every plant and seedling laid buried in the rubble of glass. The broken shards glistened back at me from the morning sun. Shelving and broken pots scattered and mingled in the devastating heap. Claire’s sick and twisted revenge on me had reached a new level. As I stood inside what was once my greenhouse merely hours before my anger over what she had done began to swell inside me.

Calling her a few choice words I vowed to kick her a** good and proper this time. Storming passed Richie I headed inside for my car keys. Mumbling that she will pay dearly Richie followed me in and grabbed me from behind. Pulling me back to him, he started telling me to calm down.

“Calm down? That B**ch just destroyed the most important thing to me! How can you tell me to calm down!?”

Understanding my anger and hurt Richie insisted calmly that I let the police handle it. After several minutes of convincing by him, Lani and Jon I gave in to them.

Picking up the phone, Richie sat down in the kitchen chair and pulled me down onto his lap. Dialing the police, he gave them a brief rundown of what had happened and requested that an officer be sent to take a report.

Tears of anger trickled down my face as I waited in the comfort of his arms for the police to arrive……..

It suddenly dawned on me that I was acting like this in front of THE most gorgeous man alive. I apologized to him and Jon for acting this way. They said there was no need that they could completely understand. They said if someone had destroyed their favorite guitars they would probably have close to the same reaction.

Just then we heard the police cars pulling in. Of course that attracted some of the neighbors as well to check things out. As the cops were checking out the damage the four of us kept a close eye on the proceedings. It looked like Claire would not be getting away with this as there were a few bits and pieces of evidence that the police found. Meanwhile word had spread and the criminal decided to return to the scene of the crime.

I couldn’t believe she had the nerve to show up after what she had done. It soon became clear that she was there to deny she had anything to do with it. She gave every excuse under the sun, saying that her purse had been stolen from her car the night before and who ever stole it must be the guilty party. She even claimed to have been home all night and her father could back her on that.

I kept my cool and let the officers handle it. After all there was a crowd gathered on my lawn and I didn’t want to draw more attention to Richie and Jon than already had been. They didn’t need to have all this plastered on the front pages of the gossip magazines. The only thing that saved us the night before was no cameras were allowed inside the building.

As Claire continued to play innocent, I noticed that my Dad and Mom were making their way across my lawn. What was really a shock was seeing Claire’s father walking with them. Commenting to Richie that my Dad was so protective and must have heard about all this over the scanner in his shop and had to come check on me. Richie smiled and whispered back to me. “ I can’t say as I blame him. Smart Dad you have there, Darlin”

Watching as my Dad and hers walked up behind her, both appearing none to happy. Both listening to her wail as if she was a victim, repeating again that her dad could vouch for her. I was beginning to brace myself for an all out blow up. Though normally a gentle man for his size, Dad has a temper at times and I knew that no way would he stand by and listen to her father try to bail his overgrown spoiled brat out this.

What happened next was not only a huge shock but it was priceless as well. Unaware her father was standing behind her, Claire tried desperately to woo the officers. I’ll never forget the look on her face when he said “ That’s not true, your mother and I were home alone last night. I do know that you are guilty of doing all of this”

Looking at the officers he blurted without hesitation. “Are you going to place her under arrest or not? I hope you are pressing charges against her Melissa! She needs to pay for what she has done!” Shocked I just nodded my head yes as he continued to talk over her cries like a spoiled child.

“ Claire, your mother and I are sick of you acting like a spoiled brat. It’s time you grow up and pay for what you do. I’m not bailing you out nor will your mother. I’m not going to hire you an attorney. You figure it out on your own. If and when you find someone to bail you out of jail, you have 3 days to get your things and move out. And another thing, you’re going to pay every single dime to replace what you have destroyed here. I’m selling your Mercedes to pay for it so don’t forget to take your bike when you get your things!”

Oh, god how I wish I had a camera to capture her reaction to what her father had said to her. Cuffing her, they read her rights to her and drug her off kicking and screaming. Pleading for daddy to not do this to her, they stuffed her in the back seat of the police car. Turning a deaf ear as they drove off, he approached me and apologized, assuring me that he would personally see to it that my greenhouse and everything in it was replaced. Giving me his phone number, he told me to get the best builders around and to call him and he would send them a check.

Making his rounds, he apologized to each one of us. Thanking him graciously, I promised to call him as soon as I had a builder lined up. Saying goodbye, he walked off, leaving me with a new respect for him.

Gathering inside Mom finished cooking breakfast. Dad, Richie and Jon soon discovered they had quite a bit in common; they talked about football and their mutual love for the “The Soprano’s” We spent the next couple hours chatting in a relaxed manner before Jon announced it was time to be getting back to their hotel. I was dreading those words but knew that this couldn’t last forever. I’m sure the disappointment showed on my face because my parents excused themselves and said they were going outside for some fresh air. Shaking Richie and Jon’s hand, Dad thanked them for looking out for his girls and invited them to take in a football game with him next time they are around. Assuring him it was their pleasure, they promised to take him up on the offer and said goodbye.

Everyone gone, we stood there in silence for a moment. I was not ready for the feelings that were welling up inside of me. I knew I would be sad when they had to leave but the magnitude took me by surprise. Looking at Lani I could see I wasn’t the only feeling this way. Excusing them from our presence, Jon said he needed to talk with Richie for a second and they would be right back. Smiling we nod as we watched him drag Richie off into the living room.

Returning just as quickly as they left, Jon and Richie stood in the kitchen with smiles from ear to ear. Wasting no time, Jon began to speak.

“We have to get back home and back to work. We have a lot of promotional stuff that we need to tend to, including coming back here in two weeks for a radio gig we have scheduled. Rich and I would love it if you ladies would consider hanging out with us when we get back in town? We’ve really enjoyed your company and quite frankly you’re making it hard for us to leave!” I can only imagine how our faces must of lit up. Both of us wasted no time conveying how much we love that plan.

Happy to know that we would be together again Jon and Richie took Lani and I off to be alone with them in separate rooms. Spending a good 15 minutes saying goodbye, swapping phone numbers and thanking each other for such a great time, we wish them a safe trip home.

Walking them out to the car, we share a nice kiss goodbye as I slide my house key into Richie’s hand and whispered. “Just in case I’m not here when you get back” Smiling he winked and said “ I’ll be home in a few weeks Darlin, If you need me just call”

Lani and I just looked at each other. Neither could believe all that had just happened. Just then my parents came back in. They expressed how happy they had been to meet Jon and Richie and that they had seemed like very nice young men for their girls. They explained they were taking off and if they heard anything about Claire they would let us know. We promised to do the same and thanked them for their help and support.

Lani and I went inside to just sit and relax a minute. She admitted that she, too, had slipped Jon her key for when they came back into town. We figured we had a good couple of weeks to plan some nice surprises for when the guys came back and also to show them around the area a bit more.

After that Lani left and I headed outside to survey Hurricane Claire and what had been done to my property. It just brought me to tears thinking of all my hard work and efforts being destroyed like that. I took in a good look, got my camera out and took some pictures for future use and headed back inside.

Grabbing my CD player and favorite Bon Jovi/Richie CD mixes I headed outside to start some clean up. Absorbed in all my work I never heard the car pull up or for that matter anyone coming up behind me.

Startled by the hand on my shoulder I jump and turn ready to hug a neck or kick butt whichever was needed. “Richie! Oh my god, you scared me! What are you doing here?” I exclaim as I move in to hug him, happy that he was back. Seeing me move towards him he holds his arms out but, instead of wrapping them around me he blocks my attempt.
“I’m sorry Miss, but I’m not Richie. I just need to use your phone if I can. My car died at the top of the hill and I coasted into your driveway.” He responds watching me closely. Stunned, I stand staring at this exact replica of Richie that wasn’t Richie.

“I” one word was all I could get out before my mouth slammed shut again. “You” again one word was all I could accomplish. Taking a deep breath I exhaled slowly, letting that breath relax my nerves some. “Sure, it’s not a problem. Let me go get the phone for you.” I finally managed to tell him.

Walking back to the house I try to recover from the shock of seeing a duplicate of Richie that wasn’t him. “Wow! Wait until I tell Richie about this.” I talk quietly to myself. Peaking through the window I watch him walk through the disaster of my greenhouse, picking up a plant gently replanting it in a pot. His mannerism as he walked through picking made me curious, grabbing the phone I hurry back out.

“Here ya go.” I tell him as I hand him the phone.

“Thanks. Ahhh.. I’m sorry about your greenhouse. I know that there wasn’t a storm last night but it sure looks like a tornado went through here the way things are stirred up like a tossed salad. It’s a shame to see plants uprooted.” He drawled as he accepted the phone.

“Your right it wasn’t a tornado, just a temper tantrum.” I explain with anger and pain dripping from my words.

“I take it, it wasn’t your temper tantrum. It’s a shame what some people will do to others out of spite.” Shaking his head he continues, “It looks like you could use an extra pair of hands right now with cleaning this all up. I know it’s going to take a while to get my car fixed and while I’m waiting I’d be more than happy to help you with the clean up.”

“Tell you what. You make your phone call and we can discuss your offer afterwards. OK?”

“Okay.” With that said he wanders off a bit and makes his call. I watch him fugitively as I gather up some intact pots, unnerved by his resemblance to Richie. He walked like Richie, sounded like Richie and even stood like Richie. Bafflement surrounded me like a cloud, out of nowhere I get to know Richie Sambora and in the next instance I find myself meeting a man that could have been his twin! Go figure!

Walking towards me he smiles Richie’s smile. Without thinking I smile and hold out my hand to him. “Tell me something, would you?”

“Ask, pretty lady.” He teases

“How many times have you been mistaken for Richie Sambora?”

“Darlin’, more times than I can count. Someday I hope to meet this man and see if all these people are joshing me.” He rakes his hand through his hair creating that messy look Richie’s hair had in the morning.

“Believe me, you are his twin.” Emphasizing this causes him to laugh. “If you say so, ma’am, if you say so.”

With that out of the way I look at the remains of the greenhouse and then back to him, “Are you sure you want to help with this….this mess?” I quiz him.

“Sure, I’ve nothing better to do while I wait for my car to be fixed and I love plants, so….lets get busy!” Laughing he grabs the pots I had set aside and strides into the mess. I run to catch up and soon we are both lost in work.

He was easy to talk to and finally told me his name was Robert. We got a lot accomplished with the clean up. Soon the wrecker was there to get his car. I walked him to the front gate and just as he gave me a hug to thank me for letting him use the phone and all a limo pulled up and Richie got out. The two men just stared at each sizing one another up.

I introduced the two of them and explained to Richie what had happened. Lani had seen the limo and came over as Jon was getting out. Robert looked at Richie and said, You are THAT Richie Sambora, the one in Bon Jovi? Richie just looked at him and said yes why? Robert said that everyone was always saying that he looked just like Richie and all but he couldn't see the resemblence himself. Jon by this point was laughing and asked Robert if he could play guitar if they ever needed a stand in. Robert said that he had no musical talent that he used his hands to do the artwork of mother nature.

By then curiosity got the best of me and I asked Richie why he had come back as I thought they had to leave. He replied that they were leaving but that he couldn't leave without this......
