Tim said that what causes him the greatest anguish in the RLDS/COC is that the President and many of the Twelve do not
believe that Jesus came to the earth to die.

Many of the leaders refuse to place a heavy emphasis
on the blood of Jesus.

Jesus also made a big deal out of warning us to judge
our leaders. He explained to us how we could recognize false
shepherds, false prophets.

Jesus emphasized that in this world we will have trouble if we choose to follow Him.

Jesus tells us that MOST people WILL NOT find the way
to eternal life with Him. He says few will find it.

And what about Justice? Justice is this: For me to
burn in Hell forever because of my wickedness. If I
wanted justice this is what I would get.

But I'll take grace and mercy any day over justice.
I'll accept the gift of Jesus as He paid the price on
the cross for my inability to make the grade.

Jesus didn't come to show us the way. JESUS IS THE
WAY." And NO ONE can come to the Father except
through Him.

The above points are frequent, if not predominant, if
not paramount to the entire message of the New
Testament. Why are they missing from the everyday
message of the RLDS/COC? Why are they NEVER MENTIONED
by President Grant McMurray. Not in his sermons, articles,
or personal appearances.

I agree with Tim 100%. Tim told me why that the COC
does not preach Christ. He is right about that too.
They preach a human christ. Not the TRIUMPHANT CHRIST in whom I believe. Not the Christ who is spoken of in the Book of Mormon in Mosiah 8:28-32. The God that took upon Himself flesh and
blood, and died for our sins. The one who's shed blood atones for our sins. And HE IS THE ONLY WAY to our salvation.

I don't recall Grant McMurray or any of the twelve ever saying these things. They say that they promote a belief that is "Christ centered." But on further investigation, you find out that they DO NOT believe in a divine Jesus. In other words, they don't believe in a God of miracles.

If you really want to know what the COC church believes, they are not shy about telling us. It's not a secret. But we are notoriously known for our lack of reading, so therefore, they are not at all worried about our finding out what the current beliefs are or what their future desires are.

"Let Contention Cease" is a real eye opener. While you're
at it, read the Restoration Studies series. Volume VIII just became available.

Anyone, in my opinion that doesn't see what is so plainly put right into our hands doesn't really WANT to see it. Thus the word "blind." When you hear "old" words, you assume that they still carry the same old meanings. NOT SO!

They fool a lot of people. They are carefully calculated too.
