distasteful snort escapes from the mare as she watches the first steed go. so much for courtship. she turns her gaze, a bit more kindly, to that of the raven he, determining it strange that their coats are complete opposites, that of white and black. would their personalities be that of the same or completely different mind? gentle sigh escapes from the mare as she listens to his words. "you say loves as though you have had more then one, yet i shall place belief within your word. i will consent to stay with you in your land and get to know you as a friend, and then as a lover...that is, if you still wish for me to be in your possession." she declares fluidly.

she snorts placidly and mentally laughs at the fleeing steed and offers the other male a shy smile from where she had bounded behind her dam after the contact. she nudges the mare anxiously, body language demanding that her name be spoken.

a chiming laugh that is rarely heard from the once amiable mare nuzzles the youth and turns to 'insomnia'. "my young one is dubbed antipathy, after my great-granddam. she is still learning, but as she does learn i do believe that she will speak very little. she is a shy yet ferocious soul. a lot of spunk that she must have inherited from...her sire." the word is spoken void of emotion, as though he had caused her enough pain to make her numb toward everything about him, even his very mention.
