I'm glad I've had a chance to respond to you. And for others who read this post as well, I now have internet service at home, YEAH! So I will be able to answer questions regularly. Your question about spirit guides is a great one and I believe that this is also on the minds of others. A great excercise to do to connect with your spirit guides is to use what I call, the chalkboard method. It is really simple and also very effective. First, before anything, you must say a prayer of protection which is a simple prayer asking God to protect you and your loved ones and to invision a bright white circle of light around you as another symbol of protection. It is important to remember that everything you invision spiritually has the same strength, in not stronger, than what you do physically so always believe in what you are doing. Your belief keeps your spiritual energies strong. After your prayer of protection, close your eyes and focus on a picture in your mind of a chalkboard. Imagine it's outline, it's border, and even the color of the board. It is important to keep your mind active on what you want to see because our mind naturally is active. So if you give it something to do, you will have great results. Many people who offer suggestions of meditation and other forms of spiritual activities say to clear the mind. But that is not a natural process for our physical brain. So, picture the chalkboard and when you have a solid image in your mind, mentally ask for your spirit guide to write down his or her name in the space on the board. Do no be surprised if you immediately see something or if it takes many minutes. The thing to remember is to not have expectations. Let the letters and image of the name come to you, even if it comes in a different language or in a form you don't recognize. How they give us information is just as important as what they say. Do this excercise until you feel comfortable with what you recieve and always write down what you get, even if it is one letter. After you do this, ask that Guide by name to personally send you a confirmation of what you've seen. Ask them to send you their name so that there is no doubt of what you saw. For example, say the persons name is Joshua, and you recieve a credit card offer in the mail and the contact person is named Joshua. That's just as example. And keep asking for confirmation as long as you need to, to know what you are getting. Communication on our end is just as vital to spirit contact as them communicating with us. And also, ask that your guides visit you in dreams and show you what you need to know at that time. Don't be surprised if you experience very vivid but also confusing dreams because our guides often give us information symbolically. So ask that the symbols they give you are something you can decipher. There are many more ways I can suggest for you to connect with your guides as well as loved ones who have crossed over. The best thing to remember is to be patient with yourself. Your guides will know what you are able to recieve so don't worry if this process takes a while. It is very common for me to be given messages through my dreams and other ways and have it take up to two years to happen! But, when it comes to simple confirmations, they might happen that same day. Spirit always works on a differnt time frame and they know what's best for us. So if you have any other questions, let me know. I'd love to answer them for you!
