Clara:[thinking to herself] I don't know what's wrong with me lately. I mean this really isn't normal. I guess I'll have to make a doctor's appointment since this has been going on long enough.

She turns the radio on and Tweet's "Call Me" is playing. She sings along with radio when her cell rings.

Clara: Hello?
FV: Is this Clara?
Clara: Depends on who wants to know.
FV: Clara quit actin stupid.
Clara: Who is this?
FV: Oh I am so hurt that you wouldn't know your own cousin.
Clara:[realizing who it was] Oh please. Save the act for someone else Kaylonie.
Kay: Now you know I don't want you callin me that.
Clara: Too bad. Cuz I ain't callin you Ayesha after I've been callin you Kaylonie for I ono how long.
Kay: Aiight whateva.
Clara: So, wha's up? What you want?
Kay: Why you always think I want somethin when I call you?
Clara: Cuz you ALWAYS want somethin when you call me. So what is it this time?
Kay: Aiight aiight damn. Well I need a place to stay.
Clara: Don't you stay wit yo momma out in Cali?
Kay: Ummm no. Not anymore. I'm in college at CSU and they screwed up my housing arrangments and I know you and Elmo live like 3 blocks from campus. So I was just wondering if you and Elmo could spot me a room, please?
Clara: Girl you got one mo time to call my husband Elmo and not Elio. But lemme see what Elio says and I'll holla at you. Where you at now?
Kay: Chelle's house, Haze told me it was a key under the mat so I let myself in.
Clara: So why can't you stay wit Chelle?
Kay: Cuz you know Chelle and Haze got some bad ass kids. I can't deal wit them lil monsters.
Clara:[laughin] Chelle gon' get you for talkin bout her kids.
Kay: No she ain't. She know she love me too much for that.
Clara: Please I've seen Chelle almost beat some lil 10 yr old up for almost knockin TJ down at the playground.
Kay:[laughin] Oh heckyz naw. You lyin ri?
Clara: Naw I ain't lyin. Chelle is crazy over them kids and almost just as crazy over Haze.
Kay: Lawd I really can't stay here. So you talk Elmo into lettin me stay and call me at Chelle's house to let me know when I can bounce.
Clara: See you want yo ass kicked today. But aiight I'll holla.
Kay: Aiight then. Bye.
Clara: Bye.

Clara hung up her phone as she pulled into the driveway.

With Chelle

Chelle: Okay hold on Danielle. [on the phone] Baby I have to go. There's some arrogant person out here waiting for me saying they don't need an appointment to see me.
Antoine: Okay it's coo. Just call me back when you can ok?
Chelle: Okay baby. I love you.
Antoine: I love you, too. Holla.
Chelle:[laughing] Bye.

Chelle hangs up the phone and then goes to her door to open it. When she opens it there is Antoine hanging up his phone.

Antoine: Surprised?
Chelle:[hugging him] Yeah. When did you get in? I thought you were supposed to be gone for another week.
Antoine: Well I told them I had to go on vacation to see my family. Cuz I was missin y'all too much.
Chelle:[lookin at him] Yeah ri. Boy you know good and well you ain't told nobody that. What did you really tell them?
Antoine:[laughin] Okay you got me. I told them that I had other things to attend to then just sitting in meetings all day. And when they finally decided on a group together to call me.
Chelle: See I know you ain't told nobody you missed yo family. Boy you think you slick.
Antoine: Yeah that's cuz you're the slick one, not me. And you know it.
Chelle: Antoine quit bein so nasty. I am at work.
Antoine: Mmmhmm. Anywayz what time you gettin off?
Chelle: Depends on what you got planned.
Antoine: I was thinkin a lil romantic evening together while the kids stay wit my mom for the next few days.
Chelle: Ooo I can get off now. Just give me two seconds to grab my things and lock up.

Chelle ran back into her office to get her coat and purse. She locked the door behind her putting the key in her coat pocket.

Chelle: Danielle forward the rest of my calls to my voicemail. I'm going home early and you can go too. I'll pay you for the full day though.
Danielle: Oh okay. Mr. Gaines I don't know what you told her to make her happy but you have to do it more often.
Antoine: Just the work of a husband. Come on Chelle, we still have to drop TJ and Ally off at my moms.
Chelle: Okay. Bye Danielle I'll see you Monday morning.
Danielle: Bye Mrs. Webster-Gaines. Have fun.
Antoine: Oh she will don't worry about that.

Antoine and Chelle leave the office and get into their cars. Antoine pulls up beside Chelle.

Antoine: Do you wanna drop your car off at home and go together, or you go get one and I get the other?
Chelle: We can go together. I'll follow you.
Antoine: Aiight.

They leave the parking lot to go home to switch cars. Then they head off to get TJ and Ally ready for their weekend at grandma's.
