Subject: 1981 Malibu $450 pics now on web

Check out the site above for pics of my 1981 Malibu. $450 negotiable. Located in Grand Rapids, MI. As previously posted this car was bought new by my Grandmother. She put about 34K on it over 10 years. I bought it from her when she wanted a "new" car and put another 20K on it during college. Somthing in the dash fell down and obscures part of the odometer but it reads 55K and change. It then was parked outdoors (shame on me) from '96 till last fall. Last fall it started and drove out of a backyard to a car carrier to be pulled from Detroit to Grand Rapids, where it was garaged over this last winter. The 229 V6 has a bad lifter and needs carb work (really needs to be pulled and replaced by a V8!). It's the original paint and undercoating, no accidents, includes the original owners manual, a Haynes repair manual, some factory paperwork showing all the option codes, the jack and small spare (still holding air). The interior is in great shape, the seats and headliner look brand new, the dash has minimal fading. I'd like to think someone can make a nice project out of it...If not it's a source for interior and other parts.
