Hounds of Hell

Hounds of Hell howling your name,
run or stay, the end is the same.
Thunderous paws pounding in the night.
Your stomache churning, sick with fright.
Gnawing and gnashing, breathing down your back.
Circling round, the beasts set their trap.
You go down, unable to face death on your feet.
Whimpering loudy, acknowledging defeat.
Louds screams of anguish and pain,
cries for help all in vain.
Flesh and bone ripped apart.
A feeding frenzy is just the start.
Dragging body parts and limbs,
back to their dark masters den.
Bloodied and content,
Beasts rest, enegry spent.
Dawning of day is near,
it is the night you should fear.
