I am looking for the small plastic rear dyno-lite for a 1955 Raliegh Sports. It is a light gray plastic with a red lens and streamlined in shape. As I remember it was about an inch and a half long and about 3/4 of an inch wide and had a gray wire. Also looking for the chrome clips that hold the wire to the frame.

Date Posted: 17:39:51 05/21/03 Wed

Hi, I've been trying to find information and parts on an early Murray middleweight, the Fleetline. This bike has a springer front-end and chrome chainguard. This early middleweight had a chrome(?) tank with two headlights on top of the tank (not on the front) and a horn inside. I found a N.O.S. women's tank that is almost mint, but I need a men's tank to transfer the headlights and internal parts to. If anyone has a Fleetline, or can help me with any information on this early middleweight, I'd greatly appreciate it!
Thanks, Steve H.

I have a number of vintage bikes that I am interested in selling. A few examples can be seen here :
http://www.flickr.com/photos/95203793@N00/

There are about 25-28 bikes in total. Some are very complete. There are a few J.C. Higgins, Roadmaster, Murray, Rollfast and others. I have additonal pictures that I have not had a chance to upload to the web yet. I will be uploading them in the next few days.

I am hoping to find folks who are close enough to do local pick up as I would prefer to not have to deal with shipping. I am so glad that I found this website/group!

Please contact me by email sonatageek@yahoo.com and lets talk. I am located just south of Cleveland near I-77.

I am trying to find the correct headlight for a 1947/48 Roadmaster whizzer. I have an original notched frame and fenders. My springer is also for a whizzer. It has the small loop on the front of the yolk as opposed to others where that mount reaches up about a inch. I believe the light that I need has a small chrome bezel and the upper one third of the lense sticks out past the bezel. Any leads would be very much appreciated.

MY father picked up a mens Hiawatha Gemini bicycle a while back and was wondering about manufacturing date, value, etc.It looks to be in original condition with ecellent paint. the tires are dry rotted or cracked bad but hold air. it has the rams horn 10 speed handle bars, pencil thin tires, shimano derailer, and a schwinn gel seat that was probably added later. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks , Roy

i recently bought a brown 1972 schwinn continental 10-speed (24" frame). it has the chrome fenders, which were an available option when new, but also has the tourist type upright handlebars and the "comfort" seat, both as found on the suburban model that year.

my question is, did schwinn sell the continental with the comfort seat and upright handlebars (side brake levers, no suicide levers) that year as a package or was this bike modified as noted? it doesn't really matter as i previously owned a suburban, loved it's comfort, and bought this bike because of the set up. just curious ...

any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

This past Saturday I was at an auction and bought a Schwinn three wheeled ladies bicycle for my wife.

It's all original and is a Schwinn "Town and Country" model. The serial number is MR580797.

Can anyone on this group help me as to the date of production?

If it's worth the trouble, I'm thinking of restoring it to it's original condition and making a "show bike" out of it.

Thanks in advance for all of your help.
