Subject: Bad Seller!!!~ Author: Laurie Biering [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 09:36:13 05/19/03 Mon On March 13, 2003 I bought a sewing machine from Johanna Changco out of CA. Her email address is BMWPageantMom21@aol.com. I paid her $30 and it was for sew cute machine. She said that she had 3 available in different colors and that if I didn't write her back saying which color I wanted then she would send the pink one. So I wrote her back saying that pink is fine. 3 weeks later I hadn't received the machine and I sent her an email asking about it. She apologized and told me that she had trouble in her family and that she totally forgot about it. Then she said that she went to the PO to ship it and had to wrap it in wrapping paper because they wouldn't ship it that way so she did that. A week later she said that it came back to her because there was no postage on it and that she was shipping it again and that it cost her an arm but not a leg. (I do have all of her emails is anyone wants to see how this woman treated me). It cost her just over $10 to ship this thing of which she said was included in the cost of the machine. Well, I finally got it and as soon as I did I plugged it in and it didn't work. So I told her that it didn't work and she refuses to do anything about it. I filed a complaint through paypal but they said that since I did receive the merchandise that there is nothing they can do. But I sent it back to her so now she has the machine and my $30. I have kept her name quiet until now and she said that she was going to try to fix things but didn't and now says that since Paypal says that the situation is cleared up then she is done. How can anyone keep someone's money like that? She said that she sells things as is but didn't say that in the beggining. Never once did she say as is. I wouldn't have bought it or taken that chance.
