Sausage Bread

1 box Pillsbury Hot Roll Mix
1 or 2 lbs sage sausage (use as much as you like)
onion flakes (use any seasoning you like)
oregano
2 lbs mozzarella cheese
2 eggs
Parmesan cheese


Prepare hot roll mix according to package directions for rolls through the kneading step. Cover; let rest.

While dough is resting, brown the sausage with onion flakes and oregano to taste. In large bowl combine mozzarella cheese and one egg. Coat the cheese with the egg.

Preheat oven to 350º

Crumble the cooked sausage very fine. Divide the dough in half and roll each piece into a rectangle. Rolling on parchement paper makes it esier to pick up full loaf.

Spread sausage mix and cheese mix on each rectangle. Roll up like a jelly roll. Pinch to seal dough together. Cut a couple of slits in top of loaf.

Beat one egg and spread on outside of each loaf, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Pick up loaf and parchment paper and place on baking sheet. Bake on the parchment paper until golden brown.
