Subject: need fudge recipe

I am looking for a fudge recipe that was on one of the forums last year. It used a can of frosting mix and choc chips or nuts and I think one other thing. Anyone remember it?

Hi Marion!
Here's one that was posted a while back on Craftsayings forum by kritterno1. www.voy.com/100606/
Hope this helps!
Patty

Easy Fudge

1 1-12oz bag baking chips any flavor
1 can prepared frosting any flavor

Melt chips over medium heat, stir in frosting. Pour into buttered 8 x8 foil lined pan & chill. Makes about 2 pounds.

You can add nuts fruit crumbled oreos, whatever you like. I've made it with chocolate frosting and milk chocolate chips. As well as milk chocolate frosting and peanut butter chips.

If you use inexpensive frosting & chips, it's as cheap as $1.25 a pound.

Marion try this recipe too. It's the only fudge I make. I buy the packaged drops during the holiday season and freeze them for the rest of the year. WalMart or the Dollar stores usually carry the Old Fashioned Chocolate Drop Candy in a paper bag.

Old Fashioned Chocolate Drop Fudge

1 bag of Chocolate Drops (white filling inside)
1 C peanut butter
1 Tbsp butter
a handfull or more of chocolate chips

Place in microwave safe bowl and heat on high for 2 minutes. Mix together making sure to stir in any of the white center that may clump a little. Pour into 8x8 pan and let cool at room temperature.

Thank you. Sound really good. I live in a Senior Citizen apartment building and I like to give everyone on my wing a little treat at Christmas. This sounds good and easy.
