Fruit Cobbler
Berry or Fruit Cobbler
Place prepared berries or fruit in a 9x13 dish.
Pour about 3/4 to 1 cup sugar over.
Add about 1 1/2 cups of water, more or less, so cobbler will be juicy.
(just enough to cover the sugar and fruit)
Now.....this is the EASIEST part:
For the crust:
1 1/2 cups self rising flour
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup oil
1/2 tsp vanilla
Enough milk to make a batter the consistency of pancake batter
Drizzle back and forth over the fruit mixture.
Chip margarine all over or melt and drizzle over.
Bake at 400º til brown (30 to 40 min)
