Hi,
I just want to pass along some helpful information about credit card protection plans...I did not know how beneficial these plans could be if you're unemployed. A lot of these plans cover your minimum payments at no cost and freeze your account balance from additional interest while you are unemployed. Some of them have a nominal monthly fee regardless of your balance, some are based on your balance amount. They typically will freeze your account...of additional interest charges and make your minimum monthly payment for you. The scenarios might vary a little. I know for me they will be very helpful during my unemployment. If your card does not offer this, check with other vendors. You could still switch a balance before April 30 if you hustle a little. Most of them don't have long elibility payment periods attached. Hope this might help some of you.
