My father was recently diagnosed with BPD although now that I have read about it in the Walking On Eggshells books I am surprised that it took so long to be diagnosed. He lives in Kansas and I recently moved here to get away from him at the height the effects of this disorder. I just turned 20 and don't know if I would be a helpful contact as I am just now trying to learn how to deal with this major discovery. If you have found any helpful information I would appreciate knowing about it as I don't know how best to cope with him besides cutting him completely out of my life which seems to be too much work and not what I want to do, but at this desperate point, anything seems better than to keep living with things like they are now.
