I did not know that my wife had BPD until after our divorce. She had violent uncontollable and unpredictable rages. But then other times she was the loving lady I fell head over hills for. I did not know what to do and I mistook her rages for hate for me. I wish I knew how to react to her. She was in the hospital twice. She put holes in the walls by throwing things during her rages. I did not feel safe and I never wanted to raise a hand to her. I divorced her but I still loved her. I want to know more and more importantly, help those in the same situation before their hearts are broken too. I may never get over her but maybe some good can come out of it.
