Good morning!

I enjoyed reading your message and wondered what scenic view you have as you do your transcription. I live in Cape Coral, Florida and the office is at the front of our house so that I'm able to watch the sun rising in the morning (I start at 6:30 a.m.) It is great with the palm trees in the foreground--can't believe I'll ever get tired of watching this color show.

I was in Denver many years ago but will never forget the beauty of the mountains.

I haven't made my official introduction to the message board...perhaps later today (as this is my day off work), but I too have a "gaggle" of grandchildren (a gaggle constituting six or more) from my husband's side of the family--six under age seven. I also have three sons who are not married who live in Tampa, Florida; Rockford, Illinois; and Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Love working at home--started when I was 34 and my kids were young and have been at it ever since off and on in one form or another. For several years I owned Medical Transcription Service in Rockford (way before home transcription was popular)and UPS would pick up and deliver cassette tapes to me from hospitals in Chicago and I would send the hard copies back the next day via UPS.

Can't imagine ever going out to work in an office or hospital--love kicking back and having a hot cup of coffee within arm's reach, plus, I doubt they'd appreciate my old beat-up slippers which must somehow be connected to my fingertips as I can't seem to type unless I'm wearing them.

Warmest wishes,

Virginia
