Okay, YOUR answers to my question:

"Lincoln sent 550,000+ to their deaths in the Civil War. FDR sent 400,000+ of our troops to their deaths in WWII. Kennedy and LBJ sent OVER 50,000 of our young men and women to their deaths for NOTHING in Viet Nam. There are valid reasons for having gone into Afghanistan and Iraq. The 2,000+ we have lost died for a justifiable cause. If our leaders had a spine and ignored the negative media reports, our losses would be lower. The media is directly responsible for many deaths by causing the enemy to think they have a chance if they keep up the bloodshed of innocent Iraqis and our troops. It is one thing to object to the war and quite another to aid the enemy, even indirectly."

"Our involvement in Viet Nam under Eisenhower...
...was limited to advisors to their military and a total of EIGHT were killed from 1957 through 1960. Kennedy sent the first combat troops in and was responsible for 187 of our soldiers KIA. LBJ poured our troops in without backing them up to the tune of 35,955 United States troops KIA, all while LOOSING the war.

You cannot re-write history, much as you would like to, bj. You better start reading about it before making ignorant comments."

"When I pointed out the statistics regarding some of our most mecessary wars, you and bj avoid the real issues. You two are so true to form it is laughable."

"You and bj just don't want to face the facts."

" I guess you can read but comprehension is another matter. Go back and read, I answered your question."

MY question was: "Hey, Ace, how many American lives were lost during a war under Clinton and how many under Bush one and two?"

So, where in all of the above is your answer to a simple question?
