PANCAKE BREAKFAST

Contact: Battle of Plattsburgh Association
Telephone: 518-566-1814.
Date of Event: Saturday May 6, 2006

Description
Come celebrate the 192nd anniversary of the
christening of the USS Saratoga, flagship of Commodore
Thomas Macdonough, at the 2nd Annual Battle of
Plattsburgh Association "Saratoga Pancake Breakfast."
This family oriented "fun"draising event will be held
on Saturday May 6th from 9am-1:30pm at the Plattsburgh
Farmers' & Crafters' Market pavilion on Durkee Street
in downtown Plattsburgh. Enjoy a true north-country
style all-you-can-eat breakfast prepared by the North
Country Squares complete with sausage links, apple
sauce, coffee or milk, and pancakes topped off with
maple syrup provided by Parker Family Maple Farm. Take
pleasure in dining in the 1812 style surroundings
while listening to period music and being served by
our costumed wait staff. In addition you will become
more familiar with early 19th century history with the
assistance re-enactors portraying U.S., British, and
Canadian forces from the War of 1812 and examining a
17-foot, radio-controlled replica of the USS Saratoga.

The breakfast admission will be $7 for adults and $4
for children. There will be a $1 discount given to all
Battle of Plattsburgh Association members and to all
Cleanup Day participants. For further information
contact the Battle of Plattsburgh Association at
518-566-1814.
