way for this story to break. Regardless of who broke the story or when, the press (as we witnessed) was going to make this their lead story of the week. The only harm done was taking the headlines away from the Sunday news shows and who can blame them for wanting that. President Clinton took pole after pole to guide him through �Monica Gate�.

It seems a full disclosure has been made, Mr. Whittington has thankfully been released from the hospital with a clean bill of health, the VP has paid for his bird stamp and the local sheriff has declared �case closed�.

Another week on the ol� ranch.
