>I know how you feel. I had wanted a horse all of my life. I did not get one till I was older. Hang in there. Keep volunteering also make sure your parents know that you are truley commited. See if maybe you can trade some work for some lessons. Some times if you hang in there long enough some one might give you a horse. I do not know your age but as soon as you can get a job and save up for your horse. Make it a goal. Boarding is not cheap so do your homework. I wish I had a better answer for you. It is not easy. My parents would not buy me a horse or encourage me to save towards my goal. You can do it. You just have to set your mind to it. I got lost as a teen and a horse really would have kepted me out out of trouble. I did not get around to purchasing my first hourse until I was 28 years old. It was on a wim and a horse that some one wanted a good home for. She is an awesome horse. I still have her. She was 16 years old at the time and now she is 29. I have a person my daughter knows that has a horse she is looking for a good home. How old are you and more important what state are you in. I am in california in san juan capistrano area. If you aquire a horse can you afford to keep it. My name is Tammie
Also just note that at the time I took the plung I had a 1 1/2 year daughter.
