Sad and depressed a young woman in her late twenties walks in with a dog close at her heals. She stops by the counter and comands the dog sit and stay. She walks over to an attendant to discuss the terms of the sale.

Woman: "This is the dog we were negotiating about."
Attendant: "She is better than you said she was. She should sell to a good home... What was the reason behind selling her in the first place?"
Woman: "My husbands death left to many bills for me to pay and left me nothing to care for myself and the dog." Tears began again anew.
Attendant: " yes that's right. Well, we will make sure she gets into a good home you don't need to worry about that.

Nods. She walks over to the dog and kneels down. She says her quiet good bye, "you will be safe here, I have to go and I know you don't understand but I am sorry I have to leave you." Tears begin to fill her eyes again. She holds the dogs for a few moments and crys. With a heavy sigh she get to her feet and walks out leaving the dog behind.

The new place has frightened her without the women with her. She whimpers timidly and walks over to the attendant for security. She followed him to her new showing place while she awaited some one to come and purchase her.
