 *Two stray dogs wonder in.They are quite thin and their ribs are clearly shown.They are emciated,and frightened.They bark except one,who does not bark.*

Sensitive and playful,she may require a firm hand from time to time as she can be disobediate.It's not that she means to be,but she has a curious,enquiring mind which demands that evrything must be examined and explored,taking nothing for granted.This makes for a highly intertaining and intelligent pet.She doesn't bark,for she is a basenji.But she does makes sound from yodels to chortles,to growls.

He's a tough,independant,highly intelligent dog with extreme loyalty and utmost devotion to duty.Obediant and alert,Kyl is eager to please and make a devoted companion.He needs plenty of energy,and becomes frustrated and bored if cooped up for long periods of time.He is always ready for a game,but his high activity levels make supervision around children necessary.

Up to the two dogs, looking at them worriedly. "Hey there, you two look like you could use some food." She speaks softly, hoping not to spook them. She moves to the back and quickly comes back out with two bowls of dry dog chow. She puts the bowls down the slides them towards the dogs.

Appearance:Rather like a greyhound in build,but taller with a long,silky coat which adds softess to her rather angular frame,she is an agile,swift,and curageous dog.
Nature:Affetionate,and and dovoted to her owner(when she gets one),but she is rather aloof and distrustful of strangers.She needs quite a bit of exercise of keep her fit.She is independent and does not always respond to commands.She has a quiet,gentel nature and loves to be part of the family..

*Kyl,and Kaai start munching and eat all of the food in less than five minutes,then they whine for more food.Zoi just sits there and stares at the bowls hungrily.Then Kyl starts chewing on one of the bowls,trying to eat it.Kaai sees him doing that and she snidd around the store,until she finds a bag of dog treats.Then she rips the bag open and starts to eat like a starving wolf.She eats the whole bag.Zoi is the only really trained one and she just watches them,slowly...very slowly she was dying from hunger.She refused to eat,and drink,she is blind,and she awaits death to come and take her.Kyl is seen limping on one of his legs,and a huge gnash is seen near the bottom of his leg.Kaai seem perfectly healthy,and an unknown disease is lurking through her blood system at the very moment,so when she cries out in pain and noting is wrong.Something IS really wrong...*

And decides to clean it up in a moment. She fills three bowls with food this time and slide them to each of the dogs, uncertain if they'd let her get close. She disappears into the back again and come sback with some three water bowls which she slides to the dogs again. She puts a roll of bandages on the table to later try and dress Kyl's wounded leg.

*Kyl is the first to smell the food and he comes over to it,and sniffs at ut before eating it.He keeps his head and tail high,as if saying:I lead this pack O' stray dogs,and I'm proud of it. He decided that he would not go to the human,for he was not called.But when he is called and commanded to do something he would go.This decided he finishes his and barks for Kaai to come eat.Kaai comes bounding after him,and eats all her food again,eagerly awaiting a game to begin.She nips at Kyl's hindquarters,and wags her tail in the air saying:Wanna play? *Kyl whines softly and nips at her left flank,growling playfully.Then he stopped for a moment and motioned with his tail for Kaii to help him finish the last bowl of food.Zoi onlooks their fun,wanting to join in,but doesn't.She stares at the full food bowl,hungrily,knowing it's for her,but she refuses.She wasn't used to eating,and couldn't eat,even if she had tried to.So looks away from her companions who enjoyed each other's company.She nudges the door with her nose and pads out.Kaai and Kyl note her absense while eating,but don't care aslong as the two friends are together...*

Her hand out for Kaai to smell and looks at the other dog in concern at his unwilling to near her.

At Kaai and pats her head gently. SHe then turns her attention to Kyl.
"What's wrong with you? It's alright, come here boy." She talks in an almost like she would to a baby or rather small child.

*She sits down,whining.She hadn't have shots,or been to a vet for years.A few lumps were on her stomache,but she never conplained.She nuzzles her head against Falonair's,then lies down,rolling onto her back,wanting a belly rub.She didn't even notice that her hair was missing in spots or that her skin was red,and sore.She just leant out her love and trust,even with all that had happened to her..*

*Kyl continues to growl,staring at them with fangs bared.Tail remains straight out behind him,and leggs go stiff.*

As she watches Kyl, wondering what is wrong with him. She stands and walks back to the counter and pulls out two dog treats. She walks back over to Kaai and puts the treat down in front of her. She then moves slightly closer to Kyl and slides him the treat.

Deciding that she needed help with Kyl, she calls for Courtney's veterinary aid. She rubs the other dog's back, scratching her between the shoulder blades as she watches Kyl with plain concern.

She stands and moves slowly towards the other dog, unsure of what was wrong. Her guess was internal damage or a disease, but she was no vet.

Back to Kyl's side and checks his breathing. Saddened at the dog's death, she wonders what the best thing to do with the body is. Burying it may give other animals the oppurtunity to unearth it and contract rabies from eating the old body. So the only real option was to burn the body and place the ashes in an urn. She picks up and moves the dog's body into the back and into an empty cage to prevent the other animals from getting too close to it.
She then returns the other dog. She kneels and rubs Kaai behind the ears affectionately.
"It's okay girl, everything will be okay. He was sick, badly sick."
