Cane Corso at local pound

Posted by Tanya Marushak on 7/11/2002, 3:40:37, 128.8.23.80

I am trying to locate a rescue for Cane Corsos. There is a 1 yr old male at the Prince Geogre's county pound in Forestville, MD, who just arrived today 7/10, but only has 3 days before he is put down. I hope I am not overstepping my bounds by posting here. I have no room for the dog as we have a large lab mix, an English Mastiff, and a great dane, and are fostering a female great dane. if I can plce her before Sat, I will happily take him, but I need to have some backup strategy. I did interact with the dog one-one one outside of the kennel in a run, and he is shy, not aggresive, and seems to have been abandoned. He is underweight, but not severely. He showed no signs of dog aggression as we passed other dogs in the kennel.

If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

Thanks.

Tanya
