Subject: Dog Aggressive?

I have a beautiful male Akita who is starting to age, and I am starting to think about what breed I'd like when the inevitable happens. I love akitas but do not like his dog aggression. I trained him well, earned his CD, but he is a major dog fighter and always will be. How are Cane Corsos in general?
