Subject: aggression while female is in heat??

I own 2 cc, one male, one female who are the same age and from different lineage. My female is currently in heat and has been showing aggression toward another female dog that I am watching for a friend. Is there any way to calm this or is this natural. She only does this when she is in heat and is not aggressive toward anything else anytime. The only other thing she does is she is rough with my male when he is trying to dominate her (he wants to be a father). they do not "fight", but she lets him know that she wants to be left alone.

any help would be appriciated. thank you.
