Just dug thorugh my parents' basement in Ohio, and found a bunch of my brother's old (circa 1970) trains; coincidentally, my son is now developing an interest in HO RR's.

I've now got several locos from this era, in various states of disrepair; the one closest to runnable, and incidentally, the simplest, is a Riverrossi B&O tank switcher. Motor seems fine, running gear, and gear train seem to stick and bind; wheels are dirty. Given that i haven't done this stuff in 30+ years, how easy would it be for me to clean up old lube and get this running?

Any info would be most appreciated.
