This post, as I hoped all would understand, was an attempt at levity... a joke, if you will. It is my way of saying I appreciate the long hours this commish puts in and to vote in his favor RE his choices for awards. This forum was setup for all to voice his/her opinion (yeah, I've played against some females that were very good!) To answer Mike's questions, I never trade for entertaiment purposes... I trade to win. How others percieve my GM operations is irrelevant to me. I switched PPPs this season, and it was evident to me that my current personnel were not suitable to allow the Louisiana football club the efficeincy it nedded to compete while employing those PPPs... so, I phished, and found what I felt were culpable solutions to myriad problems. I though I needed a QB that would complete a high percentage of medium to long range passes. Johnny Johnson was a perfect fit. I needed OL that could get out of the pack and block downfield to open my perimeter runs. WR Chester Lewis was perfect to block down field in a similar capacity. My defense was lacking playmakers, so I bolstered it with qualty players that would make a difference. Despite all that, I needed luck to get to advance to the SHOW. I never contemplated besting MADISON or DAYTON to get that far. I got lucky, and rest assured, it is good to be lucky. That luck ran out against a better team... and I suspected as much, because Colorado was primed last season to win it all. I repeatedly stated that fact. Good luck to all this season. I feel good because I bring back the bulk of Beast for another run at the title.
