Subject: Leader stats

I have been looking at the Leader stats and I am wondering if some new categories can be added with different sorting. For instance, the Individual Receiving stats are sorted by number of catches. I think that Yards and Yards per catch are far more interesting and important than number of catches. Here are a couple of examples showing why different sorting might be more informative.

9 Flowers, Leotis LIN 4 HB 50 439 8.8 28 3
21 Powell, Kahn LIN 8 WR 42 582 13.9 52 2

as you can see, Powell has more yards and greater yards per catch than Flowers, and did so with 4 fewer catches. So why should Flowers be ranked higher? IMO, number of catches should be used in the same manner as Pass attempts are in the Individual Passing category, as a cut off point to make the list (This should also be applied to the Rushing stats, since there are several players with very few attempts and a couple of big runs skewing the data).

There is a receiver on my Fargo squad with 470 receiving yards on 22 catches, barely falling of the current list but these yards would surely propel that player into the top 50 of that statistical category. I haven't done a thorough search, but I bet there are other WR out there similarly dissed and left off the list.

IMO, Individual Rushing should be categorized at something like 10 attempts per game minimum, that would eliminate much of the skewing data. I think the receiving stats are more complicated (since more players and positions are eligle), so that maybe all we need is to add different sorting on the Yards and Yards per columns.

Another statical breakdown I'd like to see are positional records. For instance, I'd like to see which TE has the all time records for catches, yards, etc.

Anyone else care to comment?
