The whole Birdie Dockery issue annoys me, and I plan on someday reincarnating (sp) him somehow. I will let the current one retire, and somehow rename his old stuff - something like that. When I created him, I expected him to train better and someday be a full-time back.

Dockery, Benning, Cradle, all are definitely top indoor running backs. Cooper had one good year in Erie, so in 'real life' he too should be considered. Michael Cosey... Anthony Simmons... again, great backs.

As for the IPFL, agreed, they were never all-together, however they WERE the FIRST indoor league to challenge the AFL, and they lasted 4 years in doing so.

The success/failure of the IPFL brought on the IFL (I know you know the Ecklund story) ... and the only reason the NIFL was around IS BECAUSE Ecklund 'sold out' thus freeing up markets that the AF2 did not want.
